(N-3972/3,4033/2-S)* With Darth Vader brakes (though you couldn't hear them on the soundtrack :(*-The N and S designations are "movie plot" North and South, as the E train in the script was supposed to be going from Van Wyck (I think ) to Sutphin (remember, this was pre-Archer Av). In reality, the train was traveling from Court St (Transit Museum) to the outer track at Hoyt-Schermerhorn, which is actually a railroad south move. Not shown in the video, Shari Headley deposits a token in the turnstile and goes through. (Pre-Metro Card!) A few moments later, Eddie Murphy arrives and tries to go through the turnstile which of course doesn't budge. So he deftly jumps the turnstile in one motion. I was like, Eddie did that very well, I bet he's done it before in real life :) |
