One of the nicest words in a Romance language is EspressoBring on the espresso for an adrenalin rush as I stand in RFW as the A train takes its rush down Central Park west not stopping for much till 59th & Columbus and a rush hour crush it continues on down through the plush and bustling part of town then under the river to Hoyt Schermerhorn with its renown of its expansive six tracks dwarfing six Texas long horns who may end up on the Outback's racks then speeding long aways under Brooklyn's Fulton St. till reaching east New York under the complex BMT then outaways to Euclid, with its 179th purple bands then up the ramp out Liberty Ave. towards the incline to make the long turn south passing old racy Aqueduct, straight from the horse's mouth and the long ride out and over Jamaica bay so peaceful you might read a chapter of Walden as you approach the Rockaways then turning east on the concrete trestle looking out past the high rises and the beach you may even see a sea going vessel and further east through a few more stations late in the day the "A" finally gets to Far Rockaway and at the end of the line, you're feeling OK but a little beat you just want to go downstairs and get something to eat now looking for suggestions for all subchat folks today where do you go for good food out in Far Rockaway? |
