Chuck: That was always something of a paradox when I was in school. Iceland had no ice (or very little of it) while Greenland had no green. Air Force personnel who were assigned to Thule Air Force Base in Greenland were told "that there was a girl behind every tree". Except that there were no trees for a thousand miles.
