D.C, it should never be a State, it must remain a District.Call it whatever you want, it should have a voting representative, two senators and should count as a state for the purposes of Article V. Consider. [El] Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. They would love to be purchased by the US. Those I wouldn't want. The U.S. already purchased the Danish West Indies (now called the U.S. Virgin Islands) from Denmark in 1917. They should have included Greenland in the purchase. |
