You still too cowardly to register on that other website? What a wuss.

Ever read the constitutions of the USSR and Red China? Since you like bringing up subjects like these, let's compare the ERA's wording with those.
  1. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
  2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
  3. This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.
That's the ERA, and it does give Congress the power to attack the Bill of Rights wherever they perceive "inequality". Now for the 1936 USSR constitution:
Article 122: Women in the USSR are accorded equal rights with men in all spheres of economic, state, cultural, social and political life. The possibility of exercising these rights is ensured to women by granting them an equal right with men to work, payment for work, rest and leisure, social insurance and education, and by state protection of the interests of mother and child, pre-maternity and maternity leave with full pay, and the provision of a wide network of maternity homes, nurseries and kindergartens.
Sound like the Democrats of today?

Now for the 1977 USSR constitution.
Article 35. Women and men have equal rights in the USSR.

Exercise of these rights is ensured by according women equal access with men to education and vocational and professional training, equal opportunities in employment, remuneration, and promotion, and in social and political, and cultural activity, and by special labor and health protection measures for women; by providing conditions enabling mothers to work; by legal protection, and material and moral support for mothers and children, including paid leaves and other benefits for expectant mothers and mothers, and gradual reduction of working time for mothers with small children.
The PRC's constitution, still very much in force.
Article 48. Equal rights for women

Women in the People's Republic of China enjoy equal rights with men in all spheres of life, political, economic, cultural, social, and family life.

The state protects the rights and interests of women, applies the principle of equal pay for equal work for men and women alike and trains and selects cadres from among women.
All of the above are used to attack freedom of religion for starters, but also that of private property and all the other freedoms listed in the Bill of Rights. History is laden with proof after proof; ignore at your own peril.

And just for ha-has, here's Article 19 of the present-day Russian Federation's constitution:
  1. All people shall be equal before the law and courts.

  2. The State shall guarantee the equality of rights and freedoms of human and citizen, regardless of sex, race, nationality, language, origin, property and official status, place of residence, religion, convictions, membership of public associations, and also of other circumstances. All forms of limitations of human rights on social, racial, national, linguistic or religious grounds shall be banned.

  3. Men and women shall enjoy equal rights and freedoms and have equal possibilities to exercise them.
The language in there is very much like the language of the former USSR constitutions. (And it's laughable that many on the left claim that Trump wants to emulate this, lol.)
