The bible was the first WikiTo make that claim, one must say that the Bible has been edited non-stop through not only the centuries, but also the decades, years, months, days, hours, minutes, seconds, you name it. If one recognizes that the opposite is the case, then that claim has to be tossed out, as it stands on its own. However, we were talking the theory of evolution. That is in fact separate from any discussion about the Bible, and indeed may be exclusive thereupon. Dragging the Bible or any other religious text into the fray is a distraction and an attempt to set up a straw man. The theory thereof ought to be able to stand on its own; and honest proponents treat it as a theory and not a law, as well as not confronting any theologies using it (which is not the theory's purpose). |
