Evangelicals are going to tailor their plans to fly on a once a week flight on an airline with limited connections to elsewhere in the US when there is a flight 3 times a week from Miami? I think not. Meanwhile, El Al either has to place a security team in Orlando to work a once a week flight or has to shuttle them to and from Miami each week.El Al is an afterthought for many. It only starts service on routes several years after its competitors do (SFO) or flies to locations that don't appear to be logical by any means (LAS, MCO) while continuing to leave other locations (BWI, ORD is restarting some time soon but it remains on the list until then). I haven't bought a ticket on El Al in nearly 10 years, and last flew them on a codeshare through SWISS. From what I've read, their business class product sucks. Evangelicals aren't going to save El Al from itself. |
