The main goal (Claimed) is to stop neo-Nazis and white supremacists. They promote as anti-racist, anti-sexist and anti-homophobic.
They are also socially leftist and very anti-capitalist.
They also are very violent to meet their goals, as they see that is fine to meet their ends

The Portland group is one of the oldest and most organized.
