"Palestinian" no longer means the same thing that it did before 1948. The correct term today is "Israeli" in the same way that "Persian" became "Iranian" or "Siamese" became "Thai."

And no, ancient Greeks did not refer to it as Palestine or anything similar. The name was invented by the Romans in 135 CE.

Very little Arab population lived there, and they self-identified as either Arab or Syrian.

The modern term "Palestinian" is primarily used in the interest of denying Israeli sovereignty over its land, by perpetuating the myth that it belongs to "The Balestinian Beoble."

The same area of land had also been promised to the Jews (as they had interpreted it) in the Balfour Declaration. . .

As they had interpreted it? I should stop reading this propaganda right now.

. . .after 1920, many Jews migrated to the area and lived with the far more numerous Arabs there.

Along with the many Arabs who migrated there thanks to Jewish efforts at reviving local agriculture, which had become moribund.

The main problem after the war for Palestine was perceived beliefs. The Arabs had joined the Allies to fight the Turks during the war and convinced themselves that they were due to be given what they believed was their land once the war was over.

Thanks to propagandists who ignored the part of the Hussein-McMahon correspondence that excluded the land west of the Vilayet of Damascus.

The city of Jerusalem also had major religious significance for both Arabs and Jews and over 200 deaths occurred in just four days in August (23rd to the 26th).

The vast majority of these deaths were Jews killed by Muslims, but mentioning that doesn't help this propaganda piece advance its thesis.

In an effort to end the violence, the British put a quota on the number of Jews who could enter Palestine in any one year.

In other words they forced Jews into the ovens. Nice to see you supporting British imperialism in this one specific instance.
