Every few hundred thousand years ... of course the more amusing point of all this is that the atmosphere kinda thins out during the "flips" and it is that magnetic field that protects us from all that nasty radiation out in space making it all the way to the ground. No aurora borealis when there's a flip ongoing.But not to worry, Homeland Security will create a new department. |
