I worked with this guy (Scottish-American), who was born and raised in Sheepshead Bay who would put mayonnaise on his pastrami sandwiches!! I told him, rather seriously, when we got sandwiches at the Mill Basin Deli, that if the deli man comes around and punches him in the face,I wouldn't blame him! He laughed and said as a kid, the old deli men would refuse to make it for him!!Irwin, I agree about catsup on a frankfurter! |
