Because Kenya is one of the most stable countries in Africa and wouldn't seem to have the need to get that much aid from the US. Kenya has at least one tycoon, Chris Kirubi, who is worth billions.And I'm not talking about the governments, I'm talking about the religious make-up of the population. Kenya's Muslim population ranges from the official rate of 10% of the overall population to 35% of the overall population. And Sharia courts are given jurisdiction over various matters by the Kenyan Constitution. Nigeria is 49.2% Christian and 48.3% Muslim. Hardly a "Christian" country. Tanzania is 35% Muslim. Uganda does have a Christian majority but is a dictatorship. |
