Why is the "parallel not the same"? Each facility is specialized to see to the needs of a specific group. Given the recent attacks against synagogues, it's not unreasonable for Jewish seniors to desire a safe, supportive living space, too.The only real difference is that you can choose or change your religion. You can't choose your sexual orientation or gender identity; you can only choose to hide them. That actually militates even more for LGBTQ senior housing, not less. |
