The difference is, Trump's wall, while misguided, ostensibly protects all Americans. Gated communities and private security only protect those who can afford them, as far as their residents are concerned they wouldn't care if it was a post-apocalyptic wasteland beyond their gates.Probably the same sentiment among the wall folk, but their attitude is still inherently more inclusive than rich liberals. |
