I've read a number of articles and seen plenty on social media about what she meant by "calming feeling." I haven't listened to the original podcast where she made these comments, nor do I have a desire to do so. Frankly, I have no idea what she was trying to say with that phrase because her entire statement seems predicated on revisionist history that even Benny Morris is calling as such. In other words, her claim or statement or whatever you want to call that quote is so f***ed up I can't draw any further conclusions from it about whether Tlaib is in fact anti-Semitic.Perhaps the GOP should find something to do besides trying to dissect every word that comes out of her mouth so CMM, Olog, and others here can play "Gotcha" in threads that lack any semblance of nuance or substance. There's a number of reasons I post here less often these days and that is one of them. |
