I would say that as recently as 2015 one could plausibly suggest that global warming had a strong negative feedback aspect and wasn't going to be a really catastrophic issue.This was plausible because average global temperatures flattened for quite a few successive years. But then the high average global temperatures reasserted themselves ca 2015, and it became clear that the flattening was just an anomaly. |
