I grew up in Queens. I never said anything about a "black accent", I said AOC has a regional accent, which the DC likely played with on the audio track of their video.

Don't you think it's strange that the only sites "reporting" AOC's purported "fake accent" are Fox News and the Daily Caller?

Regional accents will creep into almost anyone's speech. For example, Benjamin Netanyahu has a noticeable Philly accent, detectable even to his Hebrew-speaking listeners. It's the result of his Cheltenham upbringing.
