With that attitude, you'd better pray to whatever God frames your understanding, that you never, ever suffer an illness or need a procedure your insurer either won't fully cover, or not cover at all. You wouldn't want to lose all that wealth you accumulated as a "responsible adult", would you? Look up the market rate for a bypass in NYC to see what I mean.Under the system as it exists now, most Americans are one severe medical episode away from financial ruin. Insurance is a trickier thing than most people in this country imagine, even with ACA. Again, pray nothing happens to you that you end up out of pocket big time for... |
