Posted by Fisk Ave Jim on Sun Apr 7 12:33:47 2019 April 1965 -North Vietnam’s President Ho Chi Minh rejects President Johnson’s offer of unconditional peace talks and described Mr. Johnson’s Vietnamese policies as “the daydream of a madman.” Ho was quoted - “We love peace, but we are not afraid of war. We will drive out the invading U.S. marauders to defend our country.” And thats exactly what happened. |
