AOC is doing exactly as she should, if you really think about it. She's taking a page right out of Trump's playbook:Get into the daily news cycle. Stay there, even if this means you are the bugaboo of the other party. Let the other party's news channel do your work for you. Create a bigger presence in politics than you actually have. Every one of these elements got Trump elected, and every one of these elements keeps Trump dominant in the media. AOC is doing what more Democrats ought to do, especially the presidential candidates. Even with these purportedly low poll numbers, the young Congresswoman from Queens has already made a name for herself. Not bad for a freshman who was slinging drinks a couple of years ago. |
