First big time mob hit since big Paulie Castellano got taken out in 1985 in broad daylight, in midtown Manhattan in the Christmas season outside of Sparks Steakhouse. John Gotti was thought to be the man behind the hit. He was never convicted of that murder & well on his way to his "Teflon Don" moniker
BTW the Todt (pronounced toad) Hill section of Staten Island is very exclusive & chock full of well kept & expansive mansions. Big bucks folks live there. It has beautiful views of the Upper NY Bay with the ocean & the passing ships enhancing the overall viewing expierience.
Its kinda like Jamaica Estates with an ocean view
