The more I read about this, the more convinced I am that Amazon was just a bunch of snowflakes.

Stewart-Cousins nominated Giannaris to the panel. Cuomo didn't have to accept the nomination. And in fact, everyone expected him to reject it. Amazon asked S-C for a guarantee that her next nomination would be sure to support Amazon wholeheartedly. S-C told them they'd just have to wait the process out.
