Actually yes. Years ago, it yournpost has me searching out my copy of Nausea for another look. As perspective change (at least it does for conscious thinking people) I'm sure my take will be a little different than when I was in my twenties.

Right now, I'm getting into some Diderot. In order to stay on your toes, an antidote to all those PBS historic-fiction series I find myself inhaling, doing some good period satire.

As to my response there, it's the Catholic and Eastern concepts of good works /karma. How you live, how you treat others is just as important as faith. Beliving in something is easy, living it's a little harder.

For some that won't accept it, imposing a singular dogma in a secular society are making it impossible for the majority. Some things should remain personal choices. Here in America we rely on science to provide boundaries. As the science surroundingthe commencement of humanness points to what we call the third trimester (in the human need to organize everything, often to its own frustration), that's where secular law places it. When you research it, that also hews to traditional views.
