New London) gives the government ample powers of eminent domain.I think a better offense is that the administration is plain out lying in saying it's a national emergency. The Border Patrol (the experts in this matter) haven't asked for it. Trump himself has said at various points that it's not an emergency. Stats can be cited as to how well non-wall measures have worked, and as to how many illegal immigrants don't sneak over the border but overstay their visas. |
