My knowledge is mostly based on reading about drive by’s and other murders and you usually don’t read someone got caught. LAPD also has stats but they tend to make the stats that make them look bad hard to find.I did find this page that shows that nearly half of all LA county homicides go unsolved and it’s worse for black and Hispanic men. https://projects.dailynews.com/unsolved-homicides/ Also keep in mind that lots of LA’s most violent gang members were deported in the 90’s and 2000’s. That wouldn’t happen anymore although gang crime is way down here anyway. |
