I would argue that had Trump's affairs with Stormy Daniels and the other hush money recipient been known before the election, the outcome would have been different, perhaps resulting even in Trump being primaried. Because the hush money payments were made specifically to alter the outcome of the election, and because these remittances are now known to be crimes, I think my statement is accurate.
