NPVICYou can also have the amendment ratified by the convention method, which takes state legislators out of the equation. People in small states could be convinced the EC is wrong even though they wouldn’t personally benefit from its elimination. This would have been possible until recently, when thanks to the obvious advantage it confers on the Trump Party, its elimination became a Democratic issue. |
