Nobody tried to kill him and nobody wanted to kill him. Except for Garner himself, who would have been alive longer* had he not resisted arrest. Did you watch the video? The guy was telling the cops how sick he was that they were arresting him all the time (justifiably, I might add), and when the video starts, they were already arguing for some time.*Given his abysmal health, it is unlikely, but possible, that he’d have still be alive today. |
