Last night on Tucker Carlson, I heard the best liberal argument for immigration. It went like this: (I forgot the guest's name)Baby boomers are dying off and successive generations are not having children because they can't afford them so we need to replenish the labor pool by importing them. Of course Tucker Carlson asked that if our tax burden were not so onerous (because of social programs), wouldn't it make it possible for Americans who want children, to have them. I think that in the immigration argument, we need to look to see what's happening in Europe and how the masses are rising up against their government's liberal immigration policies. |
