I was scheduled to work equipment last month but for a tail swap. I was just going to randomly press buttons and flip switches and manipulate dials potentiometers rheostats call it what you will until I found something that worked and then stick with it. I was on the shuttle to some airport back in the summer and saw a couple pilots heads down scouring which means looking at their iPads going over engine start indications/procedures and EFIS stuff as they were caught completely unawares they had been assigned the MAX. I gathered up my bags and wished them G-dspeed and the Captain replied thanks but that "it is too late for that, nothing can help us now." |
