And she was being interviewed. Meaning she was asked a question and she answered it. We don’t know what the exact question and what the exact answer was, so we don’t know who created the alleged “drama”: Rep. Elect Ocasio-Cortez or the journalist.Moreover, even if she volunteered this information, it goes to show that she is not the typical Representative who is independently wealthy. It's the job of a Representative to endear herself to her community. She's saying “I'm just like you, I can't afford a second home in an expensive city.” |
