Just remember that voting the incumbent is a vote in favor of him and his policies. It is approval for what he's been doing over the last term, and a signal that you want to see more of the same.I don't think Molinaro has a snowball's chance. But the bigger a blowout it is, the Cuomo needs to respect the wishes of his constituancy. Like "shit, this will piss off the union (or black,lgbt,marijuana,pro-choice,whatever) voters. But that one bloc only accounts for 5% (or 10, 15, 20, etc) of the voters. I won last election with 80% of the vote so I can completely disregard that group and survive next election comfortably." |
