They raided the places that did not have looking licenses back then. Gay straight black white whatever. Of course some people are going to paint it with a victim card angle. The bottom line is it was a mob run joint that did not have the proper licenses which is why the police and SLA kept on going there and other places. All they had to do was be legit and it wouldn't happen. Actually the straight places also got raided but you never heard of it because no one made an issue out of it |
