Municipal liability in a civil suit is based on the time the event occurred. Without knowing more about what her contract said, a termination for cause may change whether she is entitled to be represented by a municipal attorney or be indemnified in the event of a settlement or verdict if the lawsuit was predicated on an event that caused the termination. |
