Now, the latest twist is:

Rosenstein to meet with Trump on Thursday behind closed doors

If Rosenstein goes, his replacement is likely to be Solicitor General Noel Francisco, who is reportedly OK with trump firing people as though he were still on The Apprentice

House and Senate members warn that a Rosenstein firing (or "resignation" to avoid firing) would be prima facie obstruction of justice.
