It's now officially the Ed Koch Bridge although I've rarely heard it referred to as such. Of course if you want to discuss obscure re-naming of bridges in NY, one only need to look to the Beacon-Newburgh Bridge which 20 years ago was renamed the "Hamilton Fish Bridge". Now if they go ahead and rename the twin spans of the new Kosciuszko bridge after DeBlasio's wife, I'll puke.
