Fact is, they are easier to impeach, if they render bad decisions there remains an appeals path, they typically work within a larger body of judges on full court cases.If I were her, I wouldn't have brought forward my story until now anyway. And this wasn,t an eleventh hour thing, she wrote her Representative when he was nominated. That letter found its way up the chain, and it should be investigated by the FBI as part of the standard background check. New facts have come to light. There is no need to rush this, it's highly unlikely he would be confirmed anytime soon. Certainly not when the Court reconvenes in a week and a half. Congress needs to deal with budgetary issues, either pass the whole thing or do the CRs to keep the government open until the next Congress convenes. Kavanaugh will have to wait. Might as well do the investigation and see what results. |
