Lynch says she was not pressured, but recused herself because of the appearance of impropriety.In contrast, Trump's pressure on Sessions is public for all to see. Also, Clinton was not Lynch's boss. He had no power over her. Trump was and is Sessions' boss. So in two different ways, the situations are far from analagous. |
