There are two amusement ride companies at Coney-- Astroland and Deno's. It sometimes happens that one is open but not the other as the season winds down and weather is iffy. Last Sunday, for example, Deno's (main attraction is the Ferris wheel) was open while Astroland (main attraction is the Cyclone) was closed. Both *can* be open thru mid-October, weather permitting. My experience is that Astroland chickens out first and closes down if the weather looks threatening for the day. |
