The Guarantee Clause of Article 4 is clear that the power is given to the federal government “to guarantee to the states a republican form of government”, and any state (as NY did) that legalizes abortion has abrogated that requirement to maintain a republican form of government and has embraced the socialist form of government instead; so since the states were doing that and the federal government was obliged to act to stop such behavior, the left of course had to subvert the federal government so that no action was taken.
Remember, in the last century, the first empire to legalize abortion was the USSR, so to legalize abortion at any level in the USA is to follow in the USSR’s footsteps.
