Trump has overturned every Obama initiative from the tax rate increases to the climate change treaty, to the pro-drilling and pro-coal energy policies, to the deregulation, and to the spending priorities.The tax rate increases only have long term effects. Pro-drilling is irrelevant because there is plenty of oil and gas available on non-federal lands which was not slowed down by Obama in the slightest. Pro-coal is irrelevant - coal just isn't economically competitive. Or do you want actual subsidies so it becomes artificially competitive? Deregulation of environmental policies only has long term negative effects. It takes companies so inclined quite a while to gear up to pollute more. |
