The Trumpists were so terrified and triggered by the election of a Black man as president, that they elected an extreme authoritarian who, they think, will restore white dominance.The reality is, they, like people from just under a century ago, will follow whoever allows the maintenance of a psychological feeling of superiority over other groups they see as a threat. As long as the dictator they choose is benevolent to those Trumpers, they're good with it. |
