No, it would be a lie.Example: trump told PM May he told her how to pursue Brexit. He made a critical comment to a member of the British press that she didn't listen to him (why would she? Britain is a sovereign nation and can handle this their way). Today he said he didn't criticize her....yet it's there, IN PRINT, in the m3dia. Widely reported. He,s lying. Period. If Olog May have oatmeal and doesn't, he leaves room to decide otherwise. If he says he WILL, then he's lying if he doesn't. Cut and dry. |
