Re: Ocasio-Cortez claims Crowley is mounting a third-party bid to keep seat

Ocasio-Cortez is challenging, as is her right under the Queens Democrats' own rules, an apparent attempt by Crowley to backdoor her and somehow stay in Washington. Crowleyosr because he ignored Ocasio-Cortez' campaign, thinking this young upstart couldn't possibly make a serious attempt at knocking him out of office. Crowley broke a cardinal rule in dismissing a primary challenger as a nonstarter, assuming the machine would do his work for him. He couldn't even be bothered to debate her. While he stayed in D.C., Ocasio-Cortez' supporters were out there in the rain and snow, knocking on doors and greeting constituents in the subway. The voters were watching.
