No, Trump specifically encouraged his supporters to go after peaceful protesters at his rallies.Oh, and that Chicago rally was canceled by Trump himself, not the police or fire departments, and no arrests were made or injuries occurred. Numerous witnesses said scuffles were started by Trump supporters before the event's scheduled start time. UIC and CPD officials were confident in their ability to provide public safety, and the Secret Service concurred. Trump, however, wanted media attention and voter sympathy, so he canceled. |
