Legal vs Illegal. Its not about immigration

LOL. Trump is supporting major restrictions to legal immigration.

And if you are charged with a regular crime and you are the sole support of your child, you have the immediate right to a bail hearing. But not for the crime of entering the country illegally. In that case a border patrol agent can seize your child without any court authority.

Basically, being charged with entering the country illegally is treated like being charged with murder, the only other crime for which there is no bail.
