Such people would move out to the suburbs anyhow and wouldn't allow themselves to be homelessBased on the sampling that I've seen for rental prices out here on LI, the pricing isn't that much lower than Queens, it's merely a difference of how much space you get. There are no magical $500 studio apartments, and $900/month is basically what you'd need to get an illegal apartment in some of the worst neighbourhoods of Nassau County. |
