I found out yesterday when a Dish TV technician came to my house to service my refrigerator (I have an extended warranty from Sears). He explained that a few months ago, Sears fired all of their technicians and signed a contract with Dish (which is losing customers) to handle appliance maintenance. The tech was given one - repeat, one - day of training for ALL brands of refrigerators sold by Sears.Needless to say, this guy knew almost nothing and in the process of doing the service, sheared the head off a bolt used to raise/lower the casters so the frig can be slid away from the wall. He also didn't have all the tools he needed to do the service - I had to lend him some of mine! |
