Yes, I do. And what welfare reform turned out was not what he wanted. Fact is, this would work much better overall with affordable child care, including sick child care even for kids in high school. Then mothers could hold down, focus on and achieve succes, including pay raises and promotion, better higher paying jobs. When the workplace acknowledges these needs and stops punishing women through lower pay, less access to promotion paths etc will these problems mitigate. |
