Thats a stereotype, among those on assisstance are the disabled, the elserly, and military veterans. Also 55% of those on SNAP benefits are employed but are classified as working poverty.If there were LIVING WAGES perhaps that SNAP number would go down. Would you rather pay more for clothes and food, or give your taxpayer money to the government? |
